Easy steps to draw a unicorn

This free 3-page step-by-step easy unicorn drawing tutorial is a great indoor activity: it's easy to follow, doesn't require a lot of preparation, and the result is a cute easy unicorn drawing!

There will be some erasing so be sure and grab your erasable coloring pencils or pens with erasable ink.

Instructions for this how to draw an adorable unicorn tutorial:

First, draw an oval with a line near the bottom.

Step 1

Start with the unicorn body: draw an oval with a line near the bottom.

Draw another oval on top of the first one. Make it flatter at the bottom. Erase extra lines.

Step 2

Draw another oval on top of the first one, but make it flatter on the bottom.

Step 3

Erase the extra lines.

Add an oval to each side of the bottom. Title them on opposite directions.

Step 4

Add an oval to each side of the bottom – these will be our unicorn's hooves!

Erase the extra lines. And add two arched lines in the middle.

Step 5

Erase extra lines and add two arched lines in the middle.

Add two concentric triangles at each side of the head.

Step 6

Add two triangles on each side of the head to make the ears.

Draw the horn in the middle of the unicorn's head. Add lines along the horn and round the tip.

Step 7

Draw the horn in the middle! Add lines across the horn to add texture.

Let's add details to your unicorn!

Step 8

Draw the hair between the ears by adding a mango-shaped circle, and erase extra lines.

You can add more details. Get creative!

Step 9

Add details like a smile, cute eyes, cheeks… Get creative!
